Laufey has signed to Interscope Records/Verve Records.
After achieving various successes – including two Grammy wins and a Top 3 album in the UK – in partnership with AWAL, the Icelandic artist has now inked a deal with Universal Music Group.
The former Music Week cover star’s biggest-selling release in the UK is From The Start, with 513,952 sales, according to the Official Charts Company. Winter Wonderland (320,428 sales) peaked at No.18 and is part of Laufey’s Christmas singles series. Her third studio album, A Matter Of Time (72,540) peaked at No.3 in 2025.
Laufey has won the Grammy Award for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album twice – for 2023's Bewitched and A Matter Of Time.
Laufey recently signed to UTA for global representation, and has just completed her 70-date A Matter Of Time in Mexico City. She is currently working on new music, with details to be announced in the coming weeks.
