Musixmatch Pro has launched a new platform for record labels, enabling teams to manage and distribute lyrics across their catalogues at scale.
The platform, Musixmatch Pro for Labels, brings together tools for catalogue auditing, lyric creation and synchronisation, translation and global distribution.
The launch comes as 77% of record label respondents surveyed by MIDiA Research said they believe it is becoming harder to retain fan interest on DSPs.
Lyrics turn a passing listen into something personal, and that connection can stay with you for the rest of your life

Label teams can manage lyrics across multiple artists and releases from a single hub, with workflows supported by Musixmatch’s AI technology and professional curators.
"You don’t build lasting fan relationships simply by asking people to listen more – you build them by giving people more intimacy and emotion to connect with," said Musixmatch co-president Rio Caraeff. "Lyrics turn a passing listen into something personal, and that connection can stay with you for the rest of your life. That’s why we built Musixmatch Pro for Labels, to help labels unlock more value from their repertoire and by giving fans more emotive ways to connect with the music and artists they love.”
More than 400 labels have been onboarded during the platform’s beta phase, alongside more than 1,000 record labels already using Musixmatch Pro.
