Handle Recruitment are seeking a Head of Music for one of the most exciting and fastest growing businesses in the music industry.
With offices globally and as part of their exceptional expansion, they are looking for a talented Head of Music to join and lead the music team, to help identify talent from around the world and develop the music strategy.
With extensive experience in the industry, you will;
· Have an understanding of production processes and a talent for critical listening.
· Knowledge/Experience in A & R – an ability to spot and develop a new talent and form close working relationship with artists coupled with contacts across the industry enabling you to approach new talent
· Possess an interest in all musical styles and developments
· Be a team player – able to communicate the company’s music strategy both internally and externally
Key responsibilities:
· Take the catalogue to the next stage. Capable of managing and getting the best out of a highly motivated and passionate creative team and supporting and nurturing the team’s talents
· Music Production Planning – Using usage data together with customer and staff feedback with musical instinct to inform the development of the music production plan
· Internal Communication – Maintaining and developing relationships with internal teams and composers
