Secretly Distribution has unveiled worldwide distribution deals with US independent labels Naya Beat and Nature Sounds.
Founded in 2019, Naya Beat, which translates from Hindi as "new beat," is focused on uncovering dance and electronic music from South Asia and the diaspora.
The company’s reissues, remix projects and compilations – featuring artists such as Asha Puthli and Mohinder Kaur Bhamra – have been supported by Solomun, Peggy Gou, Damian Lazarus, Gilles Peterson, Nu Genea, DJ Harvey, Tim Sweeney, Colleen Murphy and more.
Since its formation in 2003, Nature Sounds has been rooted in hip-hop and the musical culture that surrounds it. The catalogue reflects their love of hip-hop, jazz, soul, funk, reggae, and more.
"Partnering with Secretly Distribution greatly empowers our mission of bringing South Asian dance and electronic music and culture to the world,” said Filip Nikolic & Raghav Mani, co-founders of Naya Beat.
“We're very excited about the possibilities ahead for our archival material as well as our work with new and emerging South Asian artists."
"We've always believed in the importance of physical releases and the connection they create between artists and their fans,” said Devin Horwitz, founder of Nature Sounds. “That's a big part of why Secretly Distribution feels like a natural fit. They understand the value of independent music and physical retail, while also having a strong understanding of the digital and streaming landscape. It gives us an opportunity to build on what we've been doing without losing the things that have always defined Nature Sounds."

Josh Madell, director of artist & label strategy at Secretly Distribution, said: "Being able to support diverse labels like these is why we show up every day. For more than two decades Devin and Nature Sounds have been a key player in the underground hip-hop scene, and their catalogue is stacked with records we love. And Naya Beat is one of those labels with such a unique perspective and vision, in just a few years they have turned us on to so much incredible music and history. We are thrilled to be a part of the next chapter of these creative independent labels!"
Secretly Distribution will now handle physical and digital music distribution, digital & retail marketing, and technological support for each label's releases. The partnership begins with an impending collection of dancefloor remixes and reworks from Naya Beat, as well as Nature Sounds' new projects from LA underground artist Blu and Brooklyn MC Your Old Droog.
Naya Beat and Nature Sounds join a distributed label roster that includes Secretly affiliates Dead Oceans, Drink Sum Wtr, Ghostly International, Jagjaguwar, Merge Records, Sacred Bones Records, Secretly Canadian and Numero Group.
Label partners include Hayley Williams' Post Atlantic, Rhymesayers, Third Man Records, Ipecac Recordings, Run For Cover, Asthmatic Kitty Records, Joyful Noise, Father/Daughter, Big Crown, Colemine, Jazz Is Dead, Oh Boy Records, Org Music, Invada Records, Awesome Tapes From Africa and the recently announced Blue Flowers, Hopestreet Recordings, Ubiquity and more.
The news of the label deals follows Secretly Distribution's win for Distributor Of The Year at the 2026 Libera Awards, as well as the launch of the company's new APAC division and global success with Phoebe Bridgers.
