PinkPantheress is an ambassador for National Album Day next month – and Music Week can reveal she now has a second gold-certified album in the UK with Fancy That.
The impact in the UK singer, songwriter and producer’s home market is part of a wider picture of global streaming success on this campaign. According to Warner Records, PinkPantheress now has more than 8.3 billion streams across her catalogue.
PinkPantheress has 29 million monthly listeners on Spotify, where she peaked at No.2 on the platform’s weekly global songs chart with the remix of Stateside featuring Zara Larsson.
Eleven months after its release, the remix is approaching 950 million streams on all platforms, while the combined accumulated streams on the remix and original is on 1.07 billion streams.
"PinkPantheress has become a genuine global phenomenon,” Warner Records UK president Joe Kentish told Music Week. “She’s built a huge, highly engaged international audience by staying completely true to her creative vision – turning early viral momentum into long-term commercial success on a massive scale. She is driving a real shift in pop culture, and we couldn't be prouder of everything she’s achieving both at home and around the world."

“Pink’s dedication to her work has manifested in reaching people all over the world,” added Phoebe Abu-Gold, manager at Up Close. “Every milestone is a reminder that she is right to trust her instincts. Doubt and adversity be gone! Endlessly grateful for our team and for connection; everything else is a bonus.”
Stateside featuring Zara Larsson is still accumulating around 10 million streams a week on Spotify alone.
Speaking to Music Radar, producer Oscar Scheller described it as a "pretty oddball song to be a hit" and acknowledged that some fans have questions the song's production, including slight variations in tuning.
“But I’ve been pleased with that – we need imperfection," he said. "It’s like a retaliation to AI and this weird humanless vacuum of sound that people keep pushing down our throats. We need the human touch!”
PinkPantheress and Larsson performed Stateside together at All Points East last month, with Larsson declaring: “You guys are watching herstory be made.”

While the UK singer, songwriter and producer went gold with debut 2021 mixtape To Hell With It in early 2025 (140,865 units – Official Charts Company), follow-up Fancy That has achieved the same sales milestone in just over a year.
Following its release in May 2025, Fancy That (Warner Records) has consumption to date of 101,558 units in the UK, including 68,238 sales-equivalent streams 32,885 physical copies and 435 downloads.
Written and produced by PinkPantheress, Fancy That was created alongside Aksel Arvid, Count Baldor, Phil, Oscar Scheller, The Dare and others.
At the time of the release, PinkPantheress said the mixtape was a “huge milestone”, adding that it “feels like the most tied together project I’ve applied myself to as an artist and for my fans who have been with me for years, I hope they can hear the signs of growth in me as an artist.”

The Fancy That campaign was boosted by a remix edition, Fancy Some More? in October 2025, featuring 31 tracks. It was later released across multiple physical editions in 2026.
The 90-minute collection featured guest appearances by Anitta, Seventeen, Jade, Kylie Minogue, Ravyn Lenae, Nia Archives, Rachel Chinouriri, Kaytranada, Basement Jax, Groove Armada, Joe Goddard, Kilimanjaro and more.
Across the mixtape and subsequent remix album, PinkPantheress has accumulated more than 1.6 million equivalent album units globally (1,055,937 for Fancy Some More? and 558,375 for Fancy That).
Speaking in the latest issue of Music Week, ERA CEO Kim Bayley said National Album Day partnered with PinkPantheress as an ambassador to position the event “firmly towards that new younger audience” for albums. It follows the growth of Gen-Z fans taking part in Record Store Day.

Stateside peaked at No.3 in the UK and remains in the Top 100 with consumption to date of 946,547 chart units.
American figure skater Alysa Liu performed to the Stateside remix at the 2026 Olympic Gala in Milan, which helped the track to go viral in February.
The single also made international charts including the Billboard Global 200 (No.1), US Hot 100 (No.6), Germany’s Offizielle Deutsche Charts (No.8), Canada’s Hot 100 (Billboard) (No.6), Australia’s ARIA chart (No.3), New Zealand’s chart (No.7) and the Polish Streaming Top 100 (No.10), as well as Top 10 placings in Norway, Malaysia, Philippines, Romania, Greece, Slovakia, Croatia, Lithuania, Latvia, Iceland, Saudi Arabia, UAE and the MENA regional aggregate rankings.
Fancy That peaked at No.3 in the UK albums chart in May 2025, returning to the Top 5 with its physical roll-out in March this year, which saw it move 178-5 (8,657 units) with consumption up 568.3% week-on-week.
The remix album also made the Top 20 of Spotify’s weekly global albums rankings.
