BBC Radio 1 has announced the line-up for its New Music Live event, which returns to the Tramshed in Cardiff for a second year on Tuesday, September 29.
Hosted by Radio 1’s Jack Saunders, Sian Eleri and Alyx Holcombe, the event will feature South London-based Fat Dog, Brighton quartet Lime Garden, Limerick five-piece Theatre and Manchester's Westside Cowboy.
Each of the acts have been championed by Radio 1, highlighting fresh talent emerging from across the UK and Ireland.

The performances will be broadcast on the station on Wednesday, September 30, as part of a special New Music Live Cardiff show, presented by Radio 1’s Jack Saunders, Sian Eleri and Alyx Holcombe, from 7-10pm.
“I love getting on the road with Radio 1, especially if it’s a sweaty gig with some of our favourite bands," said Saunders. "It’s gonna be a great night that once again proves Radio 1’s commitment to supporting local venues.”
Tickets cost £12.45 (£10 + £1.25 booking fee + £1.20 venue levy) and are available to purchase now.
Radio 1’s New Music Live aims to emphasise the station’s support for both emerging artists and grassroots venues. It is part of the BBC’s commitment to make more content across the UK, getting closer to audiences to "better reflect, represent and serve" all parts of the country.
