The big Christmas advertising campaigns are revealing their song placements for 2026.
Following the John Lewis commercial featuring Sam Fender’s cover of the Rolling Stones’ You Can’t Always Get What You Want, M&S has launched its festive ad.
Katherine Jenkins has been revealed as the voice of M&S Christmas with a reimagining of Heaven Is A Place On Earth, originally recorded by Belinda Carlisle.
As well as recording the official soundtrack for the advert, Katherine Jenkins also makes a special appearance in the commercial.
For the new version of the 1987 track, Jenkins worked with producer Fraser T Smith and Tom Howe, who is known for his music for Ted Lasso. The single is released on Jenkins' own label via The Orchard.
"Together with an extraordinary team, we’ve given this song a new musical voice for Christmas while staying true to its heart,” said Katherine Jenkins. “At its core is a simple belief: through giving, forgiving and loving, we can find a little heaven here on earth.”
The new single follows the Welsh mezzo-soprano’s 25 Year Anniversary Tour to a close. Marking her first UK tour in five years, the 18-date run saw Jenkins perform across the UK and Ireland, including at the London Palladium.
Katherine Jenkins’ achievements include a record-breaking 14 No.1 albums in the classical chart since signing to Universal Classics in 2002.
