Mubi has announced the global acquisition of concert film Cameron Winter at Carnegie Hall (excluding North America).
The global streaming service, distributor and production company will screen the film with the Geese frontman in 2027.
Shot and directed by Oscar-winning director Paul Thomas Anderson (One Battle After Another, Phantom Thread, There Will Be Blood), the concert film was captured on 35mm and 16mm film during a sold-out solo performance from Winter.
The film will have its world premiere at the 64th New York Film Festival and its UK premiere at the 70th BFI London Film Festival 2026.
Live At Carnegie Hall is released as a live album on October 9 via Partisan/Play It Again Sam. The album documents Winter’s December 2025 stripped-down performance, becoming one of the youngest solo artists to headline and perform in the concert hall’s main auditorium.
The music was recorded and produced for the film by Ariel Rechtshaid, who is a Grammy winner for albums with Vampire Weekend and Adele.
The film is co-produced by filmmaker and actor Benny Safdie, who also served as a camera operator during production, and produced by Sara Murphy, Erica Frauman and Maggie Ambrose.
Janus Films and Criterion will release the film in North America.
Mubi releases Pulp: What Do You Do For An Encore? on September 25.
