Doves flying high in sales reports
Tuesday, Apr 7th 2009 at 11:44AMThe Heavenly album sold around 18,500 units on its day of release yesterday, comfortably outselling nearest competitor Lady GaGa's The Fame (Polydor), which topped the charts last week.
Kingdom Of Rust should be joined in the chart this Sunday by new albums from Bat For Lashes (Two Suns [Echo / Parlophone]), Yeah Yeah Yeahs (It's Blitz [Polydor]) and Eoghan Quigg (Eoghan Quigg [RCA]), all of which look set to enter the top ten according to early sales reports.
