Ministry of Sound's music strategy took another twist last week, when the indie put its joint venture business Relentless Records into voluntary liquidation.
As majority 60% shareholder in the company, Ministry issued a statement last Thursday confirming that Relentless had ceased trading with immediate effect and would not be put up for sale, as previously mooted. Ministry of Sound declined to comment further "due to the ongoing process of informing the label's artists and creditors of the situation".
