Lucie Caswell exits FAC, joins MPA as GM

Featured Artists Coaltion CEO Lucie Caswell is moving to the MPA.

Caswell will take up the role of general manager and chief policy officer at the Music Publishers Association in early autumn.

The move was announced the MPA AGM in London today (July 30). It's been a period of change at the publishing trade body, following the departure of CEO Jane Dyball and the arrival of new chair Roberto Neri.

“I am delighted to confirm that our MPA team will be further strengthened in less than three months' time, when Lucie Caswell, the FAC’s current CEO joins us as MPA general manager & chief policy officer,” said MPA CEO Paul Clements. “We look forward to welcoming Lucie, who will help us to springboard from the platform that Jackie [Alway], Jane [Dyball] and Lorna [Greenwood] have left us.”

The move by Caswell comes shortly after the 10th anniversary celebrations for the FAC. During her two-year spell at the trade body, Caswell worked to defend artists’ rights in the streaming era and campaigned for the Copyright Directive.

The FAC has yet to announce a new CEO to replace Caswell.
