Warner Chappell Music has signed an administration and sub-publishing deal with Satori Song, the publishing company of French singer-songwriter Étienne Daho.
The agreement, which was orchestrated by WCM France’s president Matthieu Tessier and A&R director Jérôme Brucker, covers Daho's entire 45-year discography, from his 1981 debut album, Mythomane, to his latest release, Tirer la nuit sur les étoiles (2023).
The global deal encompasses more than 200 songs, including his works written and composed for artists such as Vanessa Paradis, Jane Birkin, Françoise Hardy, Dani and Marianne Faithfull.
“Working alongside a great artist like Étienne Daho and helping champion his repertoire, both in France and internationally, is a great privilege for all of us at Warner Chappell Music," said Tessier. "I would like to extend my deepest thanks to Étienne and his producer Laurent Manganas for their trust.”

Since his emergence in the early 1980s, Daho has combined French pop with influences from British and American music, most notably in collaboration with the late producer William Orbit.
His best-known songs include Week-end à Rome, Tombé Pour La France, Épaule Tattoo, Duel Au Soleil, Comme Un Igloo and Le Premier Jour (Du Reste De Ta Vie). Later albums included L’Invitation, Les Chansons de l’innocence retrouvée and Blitz, while his 2023 album Tirer La Nuit Sur Les Étoiles featured a duet with Vanessa Paradis on the title track. In 2025, he co-wrote and produced Paradis’ album Le Retour Des Beaux Jours.
“I’m delighted to be joining the Warner Chappell Music France roster as I embark on an exciting new chapter in my career,” added Daho.
