This is a crucial role promoting the vital support services of this well respected music industry organisation through key company relationships, consultation and international industry events.
Responsibilities will include:
•Growth of membership base through recruitment of new independent companies
•Consultation and advice and around business activities throughout member base
•Maintaining links and working closely with other industry trade associations
•Overseeing and compiling Company guides, monthly reports, member mail outs, web content etc.
•Generating the programme for AGM
•Promote, coordinate and lead trade mission programmes
•Grow relationships and activity into new international territories
•Engage industry delegates
•Developing company presence at industry trade and B2B events
The successful candidate with demonstrate solid experience gained within the music industry, ideally within an independent music company – additional experience within a major company would also be advantageous. You will therefore be familiar with the complex structure of the wider music industry with a deep understanding of independent and major label structures and the key challenges they face. Experience in a commercial role with marketing and business development capabilities is ideal, additionally international event management experience will benefit. You will have exceptional organisational skills and confident communication skills with the ability to articulate and present to large groups of industry peers with gravitas.
