TuneCore names Noémie Lambert as head of French operation

TuneCore has named Noémie Lambert as the company’s new head of TuneCore, France.

The independent development partner for self-releasing artists is owned by Believe.

Lambert will report to Basile Beaugendre, regional head of TuneCore, Europe.

“As TuneCore continues to scale our global operations, it is paramount that we have experts on the ground  who are able to best serve artists in their home markets,” said Brian Miller, chief business officer, TuneCore. “As head of TuneCore, France, Noémie will help attract and retain self-releasing French speaking artists with opportunities to develop their careers on their own terms.”

As head of TuneCore, France, Lambert is responsible for overseeing TuneCore’s business operations in France and French speaking countries, while securing marketing and industry partnerships to increase the impact of artists’ releases throughout these markets.

Lambert will also work alongside Believe and TuneCore’s global marketing and communications teams to increase brand awareness throughout France,  as well as ensure that global initiatives are serving French TuneCore artists.

TK’s recent track Coachella, a collaboration with GIMS – one of the world's most listened to Francophone artists – was released via TuneCore and rose to No.2 on YouTube’s trending music chart in France.

Basile Beaugendre said: “Noémie’s genuine passion for developing independent artists has been evident throughout her entire career. I have spent years building TuneCore France into the premier distribution destination for independent French artists, and I feel confident that Noémie is the best person to ensure TuneCore remains the partner of choice for French artists seeking the best setup and opportunities to build their careers.”

Lambert has more than a decade of music industry experience, most recently having served as sync manager, branded content & ads at Audio Network where she was responsible for creative music supervision, licensing, and business development.

Her career in music began as a marketing and partnerships coordinator, EMEA, at Spotify France, followed by a spell at Universal Music France to develop their distribution platform Spinnup. She then moved to Groover, where she worked on developing the company’s artist services and distribution platform Groover Obsessions.

“Independent artists have never had more access to opportunities for success, but they have also never had to navigate a more complex industry to achieve success,” said Noémie Lambert. “As head of TuneCore, France, I aim to solidify TuneCore as the first place French artists think of when they want to build a sustainable career, both at home and internationally.”

Lambert’s appointment is the most recent in a series of organisational updates strengthening TuneCore’s international leadership team, including Basile Beaugendre and Cyrus Chen being named regional head of TuneCore, Europe, and regional head of TuneCore, APAC, respectively. In addition, Andi Arya Dwi Putra was recently appointed as head of TuneCore, Indonesia.
