Zeon Richards has joined Ministry Of Sound Recordings as head of A&R.

Richards starts immediately and will report directly to Dipesh Parmar, managing director, Ministry Of Sound.

Richards joins the label from Polydor, where he spent three years as an A&R consultant. During his tenure he signed acts including Stefflon Don, Wretch 32, and Steel Banglez, and was influential in the signing of South London newcomer Ramz, who has seen debut single Barking (501,942 sales, OCC) storm the charts in 2018.

Richards, who was interviewed in Music Week last year, also runs music management company The Renowned Group (Wretch 32, Knox Brown, Hamzaa).

Zeon Richards said: “I am really excited to be working with such a renowned and respected company in Ministry Of Sound and I look forward to leading a forward-thinking A&R team.”

Dipesh Parmar said: “I am delighted that Zeon has joined Ministry of Sound to head up the A&R team. He's completely immersed in modern culture and his taste, drive and ambition will be a huge asset to the label. I had the pleasure of working with Zeon and had a huge amount of success with Wretch 32. He is the perfect executive to help drive the label forward.”
