K2 acquires UK-based booking agency E.G.O.

International booking agency K2 has acquired the UK-based agency E.G.O.

E.G.O founder Jim Morewood will take up the position of senior booking agent at K2 and will be joined by long-time colleague and agent Yerry Stetter. They join the K2 booking team of K2 CEO John Jackson, Jane Miller, Leo Benton and Sharon Richardson.

K2, which represents the likes of Metallica, Iron Maiden and Alter Bridge, will also acquire the E.G.O extensive roster of artists.

K2 founder John Jackson said: “I am delighted to be working with Jim again and we all look forward to welcoming Yerry to K2.  Their combined skills will further enhance the strengths of K2 as the leading International hard rock booking agency.”

Jim Morewood says “Yerry and I are delighted to be joining the formidable team at K2 and we look forward to an exciting future with John, having previously worked with him at the now legendary Helter Skelter Agency.”

Yerry Stetter says “I am excited by this great opportunity of joining the renowned team at K2, whom I have known and enjoyed working with for many years.” 

K2 acquired Factory Music Management And Agency Ltd last year.
