UTA announces flurry of music appointments and promotions

United Talent Agency (UTA) has unveiled six new executive appointments, alongside 11 internal promotions across its music division.

The move comes on the heels of the recent elevation of James Wright to co-head of UK music, the announcement of seven new music partners in March, and the promotion of 19 colleagues in December.

Anthony Brown and Becky Drouet join as agents in London. Brown brings over 13 years of industry experience from CAA, where he specialised in hip-hop and R&B, while Drouet will work across touring and corporate/private group following more than 18 years at LPO.

Elsewhere, Chris Anderson (agent), Randy Freedman (agent, music brand partnerships), Jordan Golenberg (agent) and Lauren Katzakian (executive, business affairs) will be based out of Los Angeles.

Anderson joins UTA following nearly two decades in artist management and talent representation, and is tasked with developing tour strategy for a diverse roster of artists.

Katzakian, who brings over a decade of experience at companies including Universal Music Group (UMG), becomes the newest member of the UTA business affairs team focusing on touring and music brand partnerships. Freedman also arrives via UMG, and will focus his efforts within the music brand partnerships division, while Golenberg joins from Day After Day Productions.
