Bucks Music Group signs contemporary classical composer, pianist and producer Piotr Wiese

Bucks Music Group has signed Polish-born, Spanish-based composer, pianist and producer Piotr Wiese to an exclusive, worldwide publishing deal.

As a contemporary classical artist, Wiese has amassed more than 150 million streams globally, having worked with a variety of labels including Moderna Records, 1631 Recordings and LoFi Girl, and distribution via Decca/Universal Music.

Wiese also has a successful track record in sync. Most recently, his piece Idio featured prominently in Paolo Genovese’s Follemente (Madly) – Italy’s No.1 box-office film of 2025, now distributed globally at cinemas and on Disney+.

He has performed as both a solo pianist and via fuller shows with electronic elements.

Wiese has just completed work on his new Llocnou Studio at his Valencia base, ready to record his next album, Kosmos. The concept album aims to showcase new possibilities with piano and electronics, using a restored Bechstein Grand Piano dating from 1895.

Ahead of the album, the single If was released this month by Bigo & Twigetti.

Howard Price, Bucks Music Group head of media, said: “Piotr is a fantastic multi-lingual character driven by challenge and musical possibilities. We’re extremely excited about Piotr’s upcoming album Kosmos, working with his catalogue, and the opportunity to develop his career and recognition.”

Piotr Wiese said: “I’m truly honoured to sign with Bucks Music, a publisher whose legacy spans decades and includes collaborations with some of the most iconic artists in music history. From my first conversations with Howard Price and the team, I felt genuinely welcomed and excited about what we can build together, beginning with my upcoming album, Kosmos.”

He added: “The album is shaped by awe – a personal attempt to understand my place within something infinitely larger. Using a 130-year-old piano as a lens on infinity, alongside modern-day electronics, I create new spaces for music I've always dreamed of making.”
