The Music Royalty Co launches MRC Publishing to provide admin services

The Music Royalty Co has expanded with the launch of MRC Publishing.

The launch of the new company “strengthens the Music Royalty Company’s position as a specialist provider of music industry financial services, bringing support and expertise together under one roof”, said a statement.. 

MRC Publishing provides specialist publishing administration services for songwriters, publishers and rights-holders. It is led by directors Andy Hegarty (ex-Warner Chappell), Ali Rigby (CEO of MRC) and Ray Bush (founder of MRC & co-founder of Curve Royalty Systems).

“The new company marks the next chapter for The Music Royalty Co, expanding its specialist music industry services to offer publishing deals alongside its established royalty management and accountancy expertise,” added the statement.

MRC Publishing will provide clients with support across copyright and rights management, royalty collections and distributions, income tracking, and sync licensing and pitching services.

In the announcement for MRC Publishing, the company said it has been created to give clients greater visibility, confidence and control over their publishing rights, as well as to simplify the increasing complexity of tracking and collecting royalties globally.
