Warner Chappell aligns with French electronic music company Kidding Aside

Warner Chappell Music has formed a new partnership with Kidding Aside, the independent French electronic music company.

Kidding Aside works with talent such as Acid Arab, Folamour, Nico Moreno, NTO, Romain Garcia, Trinix and Urumi.

“The deal aligns Kidding Aside… with WCM’s extensive international network, supercharging creative opportunities for songwriters and producers, driving the export of French electronic music culture globally, and building a space for dance music creators to thrive,” said a statement.

Founded in 2015 by Matthieu Jay as a home for artists, producers and writers, Kidding Aside has grown to become a key player in the French electronic music scene. With operations spanning artist management, music publishing, recorded music, live events and All Night Long, its joint-venture label with Believe, the Paris-based company has expanded rapidly in recent years.

Kidding Aside has appointed Nicolas Klersy as partner of Kidding Aside Publishing (KAP), the company's newly created publishing venture, where he will serve as strategic lead for publishing A&R. The appointment is intended to position KAP for its next stage of growth and development.
