BBC Sounds and Radio 1 launch new Future Sounds Collective mix

BBC Sounds and BBC Radio 1 have announced the launch of the Future Sounds Collective, a new monthly mix led by Annie Mac and curated by artists, producers and DJs.

The initiative is designed to give fans a window into what artists and the music industry are listening to, with a personal message from each contributor describing why they chose a particular song.

The project is led by former Music Week cover star and presenter of BBC Radio 1’s Future Sounds, Annie Mac.

It's the perfect companion piece to the show

Annie Mac said: “Every weeknight on Radio 1’s Future Sounds we provide two hours of the best new music in the world for our listeners to discover. The Future Sounds Collective playlist is the perfect companion piece to the show, bringing together the tracks our favourite artists love for you to fall in love with too. I can’t wait to listen!”
