FLO, Jorja Smith, Skye Newman and more were part of a special tribute to “one of a kind artist” Amy Winehouse at London’s Roundhouse last night (October 21).
In celebration of the 20th anniversary of her Back To Black album, the concert was led by its original producers Mark Ronson and Salaam Remi, Winehouse’s long-term musical director Dale Davis, producers Paul O’Duffy and P*nut, and Darcus Beese OBE.
The Amy Winehouse Band performed Back To Black in full with a line-up of guest vocalists that also included Baby Rose, Corinne Bailey Rae, Jessie Reyez, Nia Smith, Sasha Keable, Terri Walker and Yebba.
Each act took on a song, before joining together for a performance of The Zutons’ Valerie, which Winehouse famously covered.

The show will be broadcast on BBC Two and BBC iPlayer on Saturday (October 24) as part of a night of programming celebrating Winehouse, and on BBC Radio 2 and BBC Sounds on Monday October 26 as part of Jo Whiley’s show. BBC Radio 6 Music will also celebrate the singer’s legacy on October 23 with Amy Winehouse Forever.
“It's crazy that six songs made in a fit of furious musical infatuation would matter so deeply to so many people twenty years later,” commented Mark Ronson.
Salaam Remi said: “Amy was one of one. One-of-a-kind artist. One-of-a-kind spirit. One-of-a-kind soul. Experiencing that level of talent, passion, humour, honesty, and love for what she created was a gift.”
Also in celebration of the anniversary, UMR/Island is releasing a 3LP clear vinyl and 3CD reissue tomorrow (23), alongside various limited edition 1LP pressings of the original studio album.

The reissues include unreleased demos, rare B-sides, a live performance from Paradiso, Amsterdam, unseen photographs by Mischa Richter and Alex Lake and new liner notes from Ronson and Remi.
Back To Black debuted at No. 3 in the UK, later climbing No. 1 and going on to be the best-selling album of 2007. It has a to-date sales tally of 4,650,798, according to the Official Charts Company.
The campaign also saw Winehouse win five categories at the Grammys, including Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year, Best Pop Vocal Album, Artist Of The Year and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance.
