With 22 weeks at No.1 in sight for Sam Fender & Olivia Dean, Rein Me In would be worth a flutter in late summer as the year’s most consumed single of 2026.
In fact, the streaming behemoth is currently at No.2 for the year to date with 1,534,431 units in 2026 alone. Olivia Dean’s solo track Man I Need is out in front on 1,619,879 units this year (Official Charts Company).
But another UK artist and triumphant BRIT Awards winner is also performing strongly on the UK singles rankings. Raye’s 2025 single Where Is My Husband! is No.4 for the year to date and has now passed a million units in 2026 alone (1,004,984 units), taking its total since release to 1,612,108 units. It peaked at No.1 in the UK weekly singles chart at the beginning of the year.
Approaching its first anniversary on the singles chart, Where Is My Husband! is about to clock up its 48th week in the Top 75. It has spent 19 of those weeks in the Top 10.
Raye is chasing Alex Warren’s long-running No.1 Ordinary, which is less than 11,000 units ahead at No.3. She currently holds a lead of around 28,000 units over Raindance by Dave & Tems, which is currently at No.5.
Meanwhile, Raye’s second album, This Music May Contain Hope, has amassed 129,822 units since its release in March. Her first No.1 album is in the running for the Mercury Prize in November.
The gold-certified LP is currently at No.24 overall for the year to date. But with the domination of pre-2026 releases and catalogue titles, it is the second biggest album for the year to date by a British artist behind Harry Styles.
Among 2026 releases, Raye has the sixth biggest of the year to date behind albums from Styles, Olivia Rodrigo, Noah Kahan, BTS and Drake.
Up to chart week 33, Harry Styles is out in front overall with Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally as the biggest album released in 2026. It is at No.3 overall in the rankings when including all albums.
As it stands, Olivia Dean could have both the year’s biggest records on both the overall albums and singles charts – but a deep catalogue title is still in with a shout of being the year’s biggest album.
Olivia Dean’s The Art Of Loving (446,433 units in 2026) currently leads Michael Jackson’s The Essential (443,018 units in 2026) – a gap of little more than 3,000 units (0.76%).
