Suno has appointed Michael Chua as vice president and general manager of Suno Live Experiences.
In this role, Chua will shape and lead Suno's live music experiences, which includes the live music, concert-discovery platform Songkick, acquired from Warner Music.
“Under Michael’s leadership the live experiences team will identify new ways to bring artists closer to their fans and help fans discover and connect with their favorite artists,” said a statement.
Suno remains in litigation with key players in the music industry in multiple territories over its AI music service, as well as signing a wave of licensing agreements.
Songkick’s discovery platform will be aligned with Suno's platform, with the aim of improving concert recommendations. Suno acquired Songkick from Warner Music Group in November 2025.
We're building the first creative entertainment platform, and live music is a pivotal part of that

“As Suno builds tools that help musicians create, reach fans and build lasting careers, live music has to be part of that,” said Michael Chua, vice president and general manager of Suno Live Experiences. "I see an incredible opportunity at Suno to help artists take a song from the first idea to the stage, and bring their fans along the whole way. Bringing Suno and Songkick together opens up new possibilities to better connect artists and fans and ultimately create entirely new experiences that couldn't have existed before Suno’s industry-leading tools.”
"We're building the first creative entertainment platform, and live music is a pivotal part of that," said Paul Sinclair, chief music officer at Suno. "A central focus of our live experiences team will be helping emerging artists, like those in our Spark programme, an incubator program designed to help independent artists bring their music projects to life and more easily create live experiences. Michael has spent his career at the intersection of tech and live music and I’m excited to build this team with his support.”
Chua has joined Suno from Ticketmaster, where he was vice president of global business development and strategic partnerships. He built product partnerships with companies including Google, YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, TikTok and Snap that helped fans find events and buy tickets outside Ticketmaster's own site and app.
