Concord Music Publishing ANZ has signed South Australian four-piece Swapmeet to a worldwide publishing agreement.
The rising indie rock band features Venus O'Broin (guitar, vocals), Joshua Doherty (bass), Maxwell Elphick (guitar, drums, vocals) and Jack Medlyn (guitar, drums, vocals).
The band met as teenagers in the early 2020s while playing in various projects around the Adelaide music scene. Bonding over a shared love of 1990s alternative music, they name Pavement and Sonic Youth as being among their early influences. Swapmeet’s music draws on jangle pop, shoegaze and alt-rock.
Last month American independent label Winspear released Swapmeet’s debut album, Mount Zero, which features fan favourites I Know!, Sand, Halfway and 2 C U.
They released their debut single in late 2023 and followed up with debut EP Oxalis in 2024.

Swapmeet are set to play a run of sold-out headline shows in Australia and internationally, before closing out the year supporting Wolf Alice in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide.
