Suno has launched Studio 2.0 for artists as the AI company pushes further into full-scale music creation software.
The update, which is now available to Suno Premier subscribers, brings functions such as MIDI support, a chat bar (currently in beta) and advanced stem separation to its browser-based music production tool.
It also introduces audio effects and the ability to design custom plugins from scratch using the chat bar, alongside new automation tools for adjusting track and plugin parameters. Creating plugins via the chat bar will not require credits at launch, but Suno said a credit structure may be introduced in future.
Premier subscribers can now export high-quality (32-bit/48kHz) multitracks and stems without limitations, according to the firm.

The announcement comes just over 24 hours after Suno confirmed a global AI music alliance with BMG, covering the independent company's recorded music and publishing repertoire.
The agreement is part of Suno's upcoming launch of its first music model developed in partnership with the music industry.
Warner Music Group also struck a licensing agreement with Suno last November after settling its litigation with the company.
Suno still faces legal action in the US from major music companies including Universal Music Group and Sony Music Entertainment, and was also hit with a copyright infringement ruling in Germany last month following legal action by GEMA.
