Chrysalis Records has unveiled a new integrated marketing structure for its London-based team across both its expanding frontline roster and catalogue.
Since being acquired by Reservoir in 2020, Chrysalis has relaunched its frontline arm alongside its catalogue, with two distinct marketing teams supporting each facet of the label.
“This new structure brings together the two teams into a single, centralised marketing function, enabling resources to be deployed more effectively across the business while bringing together the team's collective expertise to support every Chrysalis campaign,” said a statement.
The team will continue to be led by James Meadows, senior vice president of marketing, with Colin Rice, Chrysalis Records marketing director overseeing the label’s roster and leading marketing campaigns across the business. This will include artist positioning, audience development and campaign execution.
Rice will also work closely with Meadows to help refine processes and support the continued evolution of the company’s marketing function.
The label has also expanded Roman Tagoe's responsibilities, under the new title of digital partnerships director. In addition to leading Chrysalis' relationships with streaming services, Tagoe will now oversee the label's strategic partnerships across social media platforms and emerging technologies.
Further strengthening the digital team, Matt Sherratt joins Chrysalis from Amuse, in the newly created post of head of audience development. Sherratt has extensive expertise in audience growth, fan engagement and digital marketing strategy.
The label has also welcomed Jonny Halliday, who has joined from Fire Records in the role of marketing manager.

Alongside the new appointments, Grace Campbell has been appointed associate marketing manager in recognition of her growing contribution to the business, particularly across digital and social marketing.
Completing the expanded team, Ciara Stacey has joined the Chrysalis marketing team as an intern, providing additional support as the label continues to invest in developing future talent.
The Chrysalis team in London also works closely with the label’s North America marketing team, based out of New York City and led by Ali Schlueter, head of marketing, frontline & catalogue.
Chrysalis has also strengthened its production department, with Marianne Frederick taking on the role of senior vice president, production & distribution. Working closely with both the marketing and project teams, Frederick will oversee manufacturing, distribution and production planning across frontline and catalogue releases, helping deliver greater efficiency throughout the release process.
Eva Davies has also been promoted into the newly created role of project coordinator, working closely with Frederick on frontline production.
James Meadows said: "As Chrysalis has grown, our marketing team has continued to evolve to meet the moment. Bringing everyone together into one integrated function gives us the flexibility to support our artists and catalogue more effectively, while making the most of the incredible talent and expertise we have across the team.
“I'm also delighted to recognise some well-deserved promotions and welcome outstanding new colleagues to Chrysalis. Together, these changes give us an even stronger platform to deliver ambitious campaigns and support the next phase of the label's growth.”
