New edition of Music Week out now

The new edition of Music Week is out now, and inside we’re celebrating all this year’s winners at the Women In Music Awards.

Leading our coverage – and also gracing our cover – is Glastonbury’s Emily Eavis, who talks to us about growing up at Worthy Farm, and taking the world’s biggest festival to the next level.

Also inside we speak to Businesswoman Of The Year Radha Medar, Inspirational Artist winner Louise Wener as well as the recipient of the new artist award Freya Ridings. Plus there’s indepth interviews with Music Champion Annie Mac, our Music Creative winner Camille ‘Kamille’ Purcell, Campaigner Olga FitzRoy and Our Rising Star Tiffany Calver of BBC Radio 1 & 1Xtra. We also sit down with International Woman Of The Year winner Zena White and find out why Universal Music UK won The Company Award: Diversity In The Workplace.

This week’s big story sees us look at the rise and rise of TikTok, plus we unpack the changing world of weekend TV and what it means for the biz. On top of that, Columbia talk about the global success of Rex Orange County on the back of his latest album Pony.

In this week's Aftershow, Sophie Ellis-Bextor reflects on chart battles with Victoria Beckham and opens up about what it’s like to be a mother in the music industry. Elsewhere, Kara DioGuardi reflects on writing Pink’s Sober in Hitmakers.

America’s Got Talent 2016 winner Grace VanderWaal is On The Radar, guitar pop prodigy Katy J Pearson is Making Waves and Bring Me The Horizon hook up with new video game Death Stranding in Sync Story. Manners McDade's Ruby Wasmuth talks about her music biz life in Rising Star.

Alongside all that, there’s all the very latest news, charts and analysis.

The issue is available in all good UK newsagents now.  To secure your copy of this very special print edition, please email Rachael Hampton on rachael.hampton@futurenet.com. To subscribe to Muisic Week and never miss a music biz story, click here.
