Metal Hammer awards to be broadcast on MTV2
MTV2 will also sponsor the Best Video category, dominated this year by Warner Music who hold four out of the five nominations. HIM, Funeral For A Friend, Avenged Sevenfold and My Chemical Romance are all up for gongs for recent promotional videos.
The station will broadcast the Metal Hammer Golden Gods 2006 show across 18 European countries, premiering on MTV2's Headbanger's Ball at 9pm on Tuesday July 4, following the awards night on June 12 at London's Koko.
