Secondary ticketing Bill to be debated

If successful, the Bill, which was tabled by Sharon Hodgson MP, will allow promoters to designate certain agents to resell tickets without the cap - a benefit paid for by agents.

Promoters will be able to auction off the resale rights to the highest bidding company, the cost of which will be passed onto the fans in the form of higher booking fees and ticket prices.

However, the move hasn't been welcomed by all in the industry.
