'He is a once in a generation songwriter': Concord Music signs Justin Parker

Concord Music has signed a global publishing deal with songwriter and producer Justin Parker.

The Ivor Novello winner has 12 co-write credits for Lana Del Rey tracks including the worldwide hit Video Games. He’s also co-written singles Stay by Rihanna, Laura by Bat for Lashes and Invisible by Linkin Park.

Parker is currently working with Birdy, Years & Years, Mikky Ekko, Bebe Rexha, and Sigrid.

Concord has become an independent publishing powerhouse following its acquisition of Imagem last year.

Kim Frankiewicz, EVP of worldwide creative at Concord Music, said: “Justin is a once in a generation songwriter. His songs have provided the soundtrack for so many; we are absolutely thrilled to welcome him to Concord in what looks to be a very exciting year!”

Parker added: “From the first moment I met Kim and her team I knew Concord was the right place for me. Their genuine passion for what I do and the idea of working with a more boutique publisher was the perfect combination, I’m really excited about the music we’re going to make together.”

Concord Music has locations in Los Angeles, New York, Nashville, London, Berlin, and Cleveland and is home to several historic record labels
