Live Nation joins in Warner race
Friday, Apr 1st 2011 at 3:57PMThe revelation follows a deniel issued by Live Nation chairman Irving Azoff that the company was interested in owning Warner Music or its competitor, EMI Group.
EMI's owner, Citigroup Inc., is expected to begin shopping the company later this year.
Live Nation's bid brings number of groups known to have shown interest in all or parts of Warner Music to seven, however doubts have been expressed at the company emerging as the winner.
